Couples & Family Therapy at Executive Presence

All relationships in our lives are important but perhaps no relationship is as impactful or meaningful as our relationship to family.

EPS works to identify expectations of all members in the family unit, to improve communication and ultimately to create space where conflict is no longer reducing the precious and meaningful time a family has to spend together.

EPS provides family therapy through an Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) approach.

The goal of EFFT is to establish secure family patterns while still allowing for each family member to be autonomous. The desired result is a family unit thriving with meaningful and close relationships.

Our commitment to family work traces back to founder Chad Husted, LPC. Chad became passionate about working with families during his tenure as a School-Based Mental Health Counselor in the Cobb County School District, where he saw firsthand that academic and athletic goals were often unreachable for students who lacked a secure, safe attachment at home. He prioritized family therapy for struggling students and found that, in most cases, as families learned to communicate more effectively, the individuals within them began to thrive. That conviction is now shared across our team of therapists.
